The aim of true education is to liberate an individual from the shackles of age old beliefs and superstitions, and helps one to breathe free, to transcend horizons and yet not lose the basic focus of our values. At Hindusthan College of Arts and Science true education is imparted, it nurtures intellectual and academic learning with the necessary Co curricular and extra-curricular activities. Hence the college has been successful for the last ten years in sending out some of the brightest young people. These young graduates and post graduates go out into the world with a commitment to make the world a better place by living the values learnt at HICAS.
Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust was founded in 1992 by the eminent industrialist and Philanthropist Kongu Rathna Shri T.S.R.Khannaiyan.

Hindusthan Institute of Technology
Hindusthan Teacher Training Institute.
Hindusthan College of Arts and Science is situated in a posh area of 40 acres, just off the Avinashi road at the Nava India bus stop. The college boasts of 16 UG courses and 10 PG courses and 7 Research programmes. The team of dedicated staff, excellent libraries and state of the art labs and studios have contributed to the success of the institution. Hence the college has earned a sound reputation of producing 100% results in most classes and excellent placements for the students. The feather in the cap is that the college has been able to produce several rank holders during the past years several associations function within the college to cater to the varied interests of the students.
N.S.S: The National Service Scheme helps students to develop their personality through service to serve the underprivileged members of the society, Camps are held annually, where training sessions are conducted. The other associations are ‘The Quiz club, ‘The Photographic club’, ‘The English Association’, ‘The Nature club’.
