The present global scenario is being viewed in multiple perspectives in order to empower our country. Science and technology has attained incredible advancement and there is no wonder that it has entered every walk of our society. Education, being a powerful apparatus. Strengthens not only the technological base, but also promotes the humanistic concern.
The role of the teacher in society is both significant and valuable. It has for reaching influence on the society, and no other personality can have an influence more profound than that of a teacher. Morally upright and popular teacher become a model not only to the student and also for the society.
Dedicated and service-minded teacher are not only good individuals but also an embodiment of good and competent qualities. The society with uncorrupt, honest and hardworking teacher is a society with a boon.
The importance of a teacher as an architect of our future generation demands only the best and the most intelligent and competent members to qualify for this noble profession.
The teachers are the main source of transmitted education, culture, discipline, character, values, hard work, honest etc. to the children who are the future citizens of the society. The quality of citizens depends upon the quality of the educational system which in turn depends on the quality of the teacher.
Citizens are the pillars and columns supporting the value and knowledge systems of the society. So, teachers who are the backbone of the educational system should be sound in resource, mental health, service and dedication in addition to possessing the qualities of benevolence, enlightenment, and exemplary behavior. Shaping or moulding the better human beings by such efficient and committed teacher will definitely help to constitute a better society.
