        The Electronics and Communication Engineering is harbinger of the institution. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started   in the year 2001. The department offers BE programme and 2 ME programmes -Communication Systems & ECE with a vision to produce globally competent professionals. The BE programme is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The department has highly qualified and rich experienced 31 faculties coupled with younger talents and supporting staff. The department is well known for its excellent performance and discipline. It has got the credit of being recognized as research center for Anna University coimbatiore. The department association aims at stimulating the inner talents of the students. Workshops, Seminars, Symposiums and Conferences are organized regularly to catch up with the latest technology and update the recent developments in the emerging fields. National level Technical symposium CONFIANZA, National level Conference, National level workshop on various fields, National level seminar on various fields, is conducted every year.
