Our Mission
Our sole aim is to provide all round development
to student-teacher to understand the nuances of teaching because they
will shape tomorrow’s world. Apart from knowing the latest in science
and technology they will be exposed to several practical workshops
which will enhance their skills in the field of teaching. Individual
attention will be provided to focus on teaching strategies to adapt to
various kinds of students. Learning will be ‘student-centred’ and the
aim will be to bring out the best in each individual. Apart from
theory and practical learning a lot of emphasis will be given to extra
curricular activities in the form of discussions, seminars, workshops
to provide fullest development of student-teacher. The idea behind
such extra curricular activities is to focus on improving organizing
skills to improve self reliance and self confidence making the
student-teacher a committed individual
Infrastructural facilities
Fully equipped laboratories in various
disciplines like computer science, physics, Psychology, Biological
Sciences are available for student-teachers. A well equipped language
lab has been set up to enhance the individual’s English language
competence. The computer labs are designed with multimedia aids to
make class room teaching effective. Apart from the laboratories the
class rooms for the student teachers are well-designed and spacious to
facilitate learning.
Home away from Home
Excellent hostel facilities are provided for
students coming from various parts of the world. Separate hostel for
boys and girls are available with fully furnished rooms making in to a
home. Varieties of food prepared hygienically are provided to the
students.
Wonder Land of Knowledge
Students have access to about 50,000 volumes
which include… reference books and CD’s. The boks range from subjects
like computer Science, Photography and Drawing to Mathematical,
literature, physics, Biology, Geography, Psychology, English language
learning techniques. Various encyclopaedias are also available and
students have easy access to the same.
