MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE

The Maintenance Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that the College of Nursing’s infrastructure and equipment are kept in optimal condition to support a conducive learning and working environment. The committee works proactively to identify potential issues and address them before they escalate into major problems. By overseeing the upkeep of the institution’s physical assets, the committee helps maintain the operational efficiency of the college.

 

In addition to regular inspections, the committee coordinates repair and maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to the academic and administrative activities of the college. Its mission is to ensure that all facilities, from classrooms and laboratories to office spaces and nursing equipment, are in excellent working order to provide a safe, reliable, and comfortable environment for both students and staff.

Objective Of Committee

  • Equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge through training, workshops, and seminars to improve their chances of securing job placements.
  •  Organize placement drives and networking events to connect students with potential employers and industries relevant to their fields.
  •  Provide comprehensive career guidance, including personality development, communication, and clinical skills, to prepare students for professional success.
  • Offer resources and assistance to students aiming to appear for competitive exams, helping them navigate the application and preparation process.
  • Foster relationships with companies, institutions, and industry experts to create more job placement and internship opportunities for students.

Function Of Committee

  • To maintain strict surveillance, especially during admission periods, ensuring that any form of ragging is prevented and students feel safe on campus.
  • To promptly receive, investigate, and resolve complaints of ragging, ensuring that affected students are supported and justice is delivered without delay.
  • To organize regular workshops, seminars, and campaigns to educate students about the negative consequences of ragging and the importance of maintaining a respectful environment.
  • To take strict disciplinary actions, including rustication, suspension, or expulsion, against students found guilty of ragging, in accordance with the law.
