ANTI-DRUG COMMITTEE

The Anti-Drug/Substance Abuse Cell at Hindusthan College of Nursing has been established to promote a safe, healthy, and drug-free learning environment for students. This cell is committed to ensuring that the campus remains free from the influence of drugs and harmful substances, fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to academic growth and personal well-being. The strict enforcement of a total ban on substance use within the campus underscores the college’s dedication to student health and safety.

In its efforts to prevent substance abuse, the Anti-Drug/Substance Abuse Cell organizes regular awareness programs and workshops for students. These initiatives aim to educate the student body on the dangers of drug and substance abuse, equipping them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. Objective Of Committee

To proactively prevent any form of ragging within the campus by implementing strict rules and promoting anti-ragging awareness.
To create and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where students can pursue their education without fear or harassment.
To ensure that the college adheres to the anti-ragging guidelines set by the Supreme Court, UGC, and the Government of Tamil Nadu.
To provide a reliable platform where students can report any ragging-related issues confidently and receive the necessary support and protection.
To encourage a culture of mutual respect, empathy, and cooperation among students, promoting positive relationships within the campus community.

Function Of Committee

The cell is responsible for planning and executing workshops, seminars, and campaigns to educate students about the risks associated with drug and substance abuse.
It formulates and implements strategies aimed at preventing substance abuse on campus, including outreach activities and peer support initiatives.
The cell monitors adherence to anti-drug policies and regulations within the campus, ensuring that students understand the rules and consequences related to substance use.
It offers confidential counseling and support services for students affected by substance abuse, helping them address their challenges and promoting recovery.
