Anti Ragging

In strict adherence to the directives of the Honourable Supreme Court, UGC, and the Government of Tamil Nadu, the Anti-Ragging Committee of the college is constituted for the academic year 2019-2020. The committee is committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

For the Academic Year 2023-2024, the Anti-Ragging Committee members are designated to receive and address complaints related to ragging. They are empowered to take the necessary actions to prevent and eliminate any instances of ragging, thereby maintaining the integrity and safety of the college community.

The committee regularly conducts inspections and surveillance across campus, particularly in hostel areas, to deter any potential incidents. In collaboration with local authorities, strict disciplinary actions are taken in compliance with legal mandates, ensuring that any violation is dealt with swiftly. The committee also fosters a culture of inclusivity, promoting mutual respect among students, and offers special guidance and mentoring for first-year students to make their transition to college life smooth and safe. Through these measures, the Anti-Ragging Committee upholds the integrity and safety of the college community, ensuring a zero-tolerance approach toward ragging.
